Born 1982 in London, Rose Forshall spent most of her childhood in rural South West France.
She came back to England in 2001 and graduated from University College Falmouth in 2005 with a BA Honours degree in commercial illustration.

She is now working as a freelance illustrator in London. Rose particularly likes to use mixed media in her work, a dip pen and ink, watercolour, oil and liquin on paper and monoprinting techniques.
